Betty L. Martin

Betty L. Martin, age 87, of Eaton, OH passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  She was born November 10, 1935 in Dayton to the late Ray and Roxie (Haas) Caplinger.  She was a member of the Gratis Church of the Brethren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Denver Martin in 2009; and son Steve Martin in 2020; brothers Roger Caplinger, Ronald Caplinger, Gene Caplinger and Robert Caplinger.  She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Tom) Jordan of Eaton; sons Doug (Debbie) Martin of Dayton and Randy (Karen) Martin of Thousand Oaks, CA; grandchildren Shawn (Vicky) Martin, Misty (Rick) Boscarello, Dani (Brad) King; and Cassie Jordan; 7 great grandchildren; sister Iona Wynkoop; and numerous and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 1:30 pm until time of funeral service at 2:30 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
