Beverly was born in Lafayette, IN, on February 28, 1937 to the late Clyde & Ruth Summerlot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Conrad, a sister Louise Flinchum, & a brother, Edward Martin.
Beverly married Carl Conrad in Hamilton, Ohio-1955, & they shared 44 years. The Conrads eventually in 1985 made their family home in Shelton WA, where they continued raising their sons, Melvin & Kenneth.
Beverly is survived by her feline companion Sam, her sons, Kenneth (Puyallup, WA) & Melvin (Shelton, WA); Sister Evelyn McMurdo, Eaton, (formerly of Ridgecrest, CA.), & brother Delson (Sherry) Summerlot, Eaton; Cherished Granddaughters Misty, Ashley, & Breanna & her Great grandchildren Makaylah, Kelsey, Alana, Mia, Evan, Ashton, Halsey, James, Lucas, all of WA; Many hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Beverly was retired from Lake Limerick Country Club, The Inn, where she was a cook. Beverly shared her home with her companion, Sam (her cat). Bev had many pets along her journey of life. In earlier years she enjoyed her ceramics, & participating in dart tournaments. She loved riding in her golf cart decorated with her loved Disney character "Stitch". Tending to her yard or sitting on her porch, gave her solace and joy in the nature around her.
Beverly's most cherished days were enjoying her great granddaughters that worked at the pub where she would go to play Bingo. Beverly valued that time spent with those children.
Beverly's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit and the memories she created will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. As we remember Beverly, let us celebrate a life well lived and cherish the moments we were fortunate to share with her. Rest in peace Beverly you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
