Bonnie Jean Sears

Bonnie Jean Sears, aged 75, passed away peacefully from natural causes at her home on May 21, 2026. Born on February 20, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Leoan and Robert Boyer.

Bonnie dedicated many years of her professional life to Avery Dennison, where she was known for her commitment and work ethic. Beyond her career, she found joy in life's simple pleasures, such as gardening, reading, eagle watching and solving puzzles. She was an enthusiastic planner of vacations, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories with Tom. Her greatest joy came from supporting her grandchildren, whom she adored. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Leoan Boyer, her father, Robert Boyer, her brother Dean Boyer, and her mother and father-in-law, Irene and Norris Sears. She leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband, Tom Sears, her sons Britt (Angi) Sears and Trevin (Kelly) Sears, along with her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters Betty (Mike) Moyer and Mary (John) Moler and her brothers Tom (Joni) Boyer and Ed (Robin) Boyer. 

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service. The family kindly asks for privacy during this time of mourning. Bonnie, Mom, will be greatly missed and her memory will live on in all who knew her.
