Carol Lee (Sakola-Keefe) Torge

Carol Lee (Sakola-Keefe) Torge, age 90, of Westerville, OH and formerly of Eaton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Paramount Senior Living in Westerville, OH. She was born January 26, 1935 in Troy, OH to the late John and Mary Sakola. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1952 at West Alexandria High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ronald Gene Sakola; and her husband Dr. Herman Otto Torge in 2013. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia Ann “Patsy” and Clifford Labyk of Westerville, OH; son and daughter-in-law Howard E. and Christina Keefe of Cape Coral, FL; and grandsons Zachary Tyler Labyk and Stephen Thomas Labyk. Also surviving is her sister and brother-in-law Sandra Sue and Dr. Kendall W. Toney of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 12:30 pm until time of funeral service at 1:30 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 67 W. Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Dan Mershon officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria.
