Carolyn Lee Walker

Carolyn Lee Walker, age 76, of Eaton, OH passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. She was born December 16, 1942 in Richmond, IN to the late Clive and Rachel (Rose) Bolinger. Carolyn was an Attendance Secretary/Librarian for 46 years at the Eaton Community Schools, retiring in 2016, with one of the most enjoyable parts of her job being her love for the students, whom dearly loved her just as much; she was a member and former president of OAPSE Union; she volunteered at the Triumphant Life Ministries and Food 4 Families in Eaton; she loved bluebirds, was an avid sewer and enjoyed making crafts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Larry Arthur Walker in 1995; and infant daughter Dawn Elizabeth Walker. She is survived by her son Gary (Nita) Walker of Eaton; daughter Cindy Walker (Jack Karns) of Eaton; grandchildren: Jason Walker of Eaton, Tara Webb (Jason Hogg) of Eaton, Rachel (Mike) Miller of Austin, TX, Jessica Webb (Garrett Finkler) of Austin, TX and Kirsten Walker (Trevor Pittman) of Eaton; great grandchildren: Jon Miller, Prudence Miller and Grayson Hogg; sisters Linda (Dale) Morton of Middletown and Teresa (Mike) Schmidt of Eaton; brothers Ron (Watanna) Bolinger of Eaton, Mike (Jeanne) Bolinger of Eaton and Brian (Cathy) Bolinger of Sarasota, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special dog Liberty. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
