Catherine P. Subler

Catherine P. Subler, age 87 of Englewood, OH passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was born March 15, 1939 in Greenville, OH to the late John and Leona (Linnane) Herrmann.

Catherine retired as a cafeteria worker/latch key from Northmont Schools after 26 years of employment. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood, OH; was a member of the Circle 8 Square Dancers and the Grand Squares; was a member of the Northmont Garden Club and was a volunteer with the Campfire Girls in her earlier years. She enjoyed Crocheting and painting; and dearly loved fishing with her husband Bill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy W. Subler in 2017; and her son Michael August Subler in 2012.

She is survived by her daughter Alice Fitzwater, grandsons Jessey Fitzwater and Jacob Fitzwater; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, OH. Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton, OH is assisting with arrangements.
