Charles Edward "Chuck" Davis III

Charles Edward “Chuck” Davis III, age 70, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 2, 1956 in Ft. Benning, GA to the late Charles Davis and Dorothy (Smith) Wilson.

Chuck enjoyed working on and building cars and motorcycles for many years. He worked throughout his life as a mechanic, steel worker and welder. He enjoyed listening to music. And most of all, he dearly loved his family and especially his brother Kevin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Elaine Layland; brother David Davis; and infant sister Angel Davis.

He is survived by his daughters Dana Davis, Donna Davis and Tracy Davis; grandchildren Harmony, Micah, Killian, Zayden, Isabella and Eula; brother Kevin Davis; special friend Joe Hodapp; dear cousin Billy Layland; and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH. Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Eaton is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
