Claudia F. Miller

Claudia F. Miller (Busch), age 75 of Eaton, Ohio passed away March 11, 2022, at Kettering Hospital after a short, but hard-fought battle with Leukemia. She was born on November 23, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana.  Claudia was a 1964 graduate of West Alexandria High School where she was a member of the band playing the coronet.  She was active in 4-H in her youth and continued participating in the organization throughout her adulthood including serving as a 4-H advisor for several years. Claudia married her husband Maurice on February 24,  1967, and was a devoted wife working alongside her husband on the family farm.  She also worked at Preble County Job and Family Services and retired after 18 years of service. Maurice and Claudia raised two loving daughters and she enjoyed spending time with their four grandchildren. She was an accomplished seamstress and spent many hours sewing, quilting, and selling her beautiful creations at craft shows. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Tammy; mother, Clara (Heck) Busch; parents in law Milo and Helen Miller.  She will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years Maurice Miller; loving daughters Monica (Dan) Cummins and Vanessa (Michael) Copper; grandchildren Owen, Alyssa, Olivia, and Hannah. Father Lloyd Busch and sisters Linda (Greg) Mitchell and Barbara (Peter) Kallevig. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton, OH. Another visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preble County Junior Fair.
