Coleen McCray

Coleen McCray, age 84, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at her residence.  She was born August 4, 1937 in Williamsburg, KY to the late Raymond and Winnie Meadors.  Frances was a member of the West Alexandria Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School for many years.  She was an Elementary School Teacher for 34 years with the Dayton Public Schools.  She enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Arthur McCray of Eaton; son Allen (Tanya) McCray of Eaton; grandchildren: McKenzie McCray, Jordan McCray and Hunter McCray; sister Rovena Kinder of West Carrollton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  Burial will be at Lower Miami Cemetery, Dayton, OH.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
