Conrad T. Rizzolo

Conrad T. Rizzolo, age 83, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his residence.  He was born August 3, 1938 in Highland Park, IL to the late Antonio and Clare Louise Rizzolo.  He was U.S. Marine Corp Veteran; and was an active longtime member of the Eaton United Methodist Church, where he served on various committees and sang in the chancel choir.  Conrad was the National U.S. Distribution Manager for Emerson Electric for many years; and later retired from Henry Penny as a Material Handler.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed singing, where he sang in the Eaton Community Choir, Gospel Sounds and at church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Jill Rizzolo.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Joni Conard Rizzolo; son Scott Rizzolo (Bobbie Slaughter); daughter Robin (Nathan) Brown; son Todd Rizzolo; grandchildren: Lyndsie (Colin) DeJesu, C.J. Rizzolo, Gabrielle Brown, Alexander Brown, Ava Cottone, Gavinn Brown; brother Dale (Elaine) Rizzolo and their children Dale, David and Gary Rizzolo; sister June (Kurt) Place and their children Bryan and Zach Place; mother-in-law Beverly Conard; brother-in-law Jay (Judy) Conard and their children Laura Fenner and Brian Conard; sister-in-law Vicki (Randy) Livingston and their children Greg and Jeff Livingston; sister-in-law Teri (Tommy) Roby and their children SSGT David and Matthew Roby; and his four legged bestie Charlie Brown.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of services at 12:00 noon at the Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple Street, Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastor John Richards officiating.  Interment will be private at a later date at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Eaton United Methodist Church or Crossroads Hospice, 8069 Washington Village Drive, Dayton, OH 45458.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.

There are no words to express our deep sorrow on hearing of Connie’s passing. He was a wonderful person,caring,loving and funny. We have so many wonderful memories of shared times with him.
