My thoughts, love, and prayers are with you and your family. I have so many fond memories of numerous times with your Mom and Dad on Paddock Road where we were frequent house guests as we enjoyed sharing stories about the Duke, Markey-Miller bond and legacy. Your Mom was all about family and providing a home for animals. When I think about your Mom these descriptive words come to my mind; gentleness, goodness, kindness, and loveliness. She and I had so much fun together whether it was making angels in the snow, walking Paddock Rd. with Powder, sitting in the gazebo with the kitties, or sharing funny stories about life as we experienced it. One of my favorite memories with your Dad and Mom is seeing and hearing them share their loves of music with your Dad at the keyboard and your Mom on the flute. Be assured of my love and support to you and your family, Brad. Both of them are missed greatly. I look forward to the Celebration of Life gathering on May 11. Blessings to each of you. Karen Miller

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Brad and Darrin. I love what has been written about your dad and mom through Dan's obituary. I'd like to add one more thing.: Your parents were my "neighbors" long after their moving from Woodland Drive and my leaving Eaton; they were always friendly and willing to help. I felt our Little Forest Family lived on in my heart. It still does. I am grateful for knowing your parents and growing up with the Dukes! Love and prayers to you all. XXOO Susan Armacost

So sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad sold us our All American Home nineteen years ago. They were two most incredible people. We will always remember their kindness to us. May God give you peace.

We lived in Arizona at the time and I know that it was more work for him but he didnt hesitate but got it and had it sent out for me to pick up. He truly was a special man..we are so sorry for your loss, hugs and prayers to all of the family.

I was in the National Guard with Dan and were friends since that time. He and I shared the love of music and would enjoy the live shows at Richmond Civic Theatre often. They both will be missed greatly. May they rest in peace. Sending prayers to the family. Don & Arthella Pollock
