Daniel L. Hofacker, Sr.

Daniel L. “Bugger” Hofacker Sr., age 65, of New Paris, OH passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on January 22, 1957 in Darke County, OH to the late Stanley M. Hofacker and Nona (Shade) Shinn.  He was a member of the Greenville Power of the Past Association and was an avid John Deere collector.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Terrie Hofacker; son Daniel L. “Danny” Hofacker Jr.; brothers Stanley Hofacker Jr. and Keith J. Hofacker Sr.; and sister Barbara A. Swann.  He is survived by his daughter Rosa Corey of Eaton; sons Michael E. Hofacker of Greenville and John Hofacker of Versailles; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother Rocky D. Hofacker of Castine; sister Connie F. Levering of West Manchester and Pam R. Studebaker of West Manchester; and numerous nieces and nephews; and his special canine companion Eric.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Ithaca Cemetery in Ithaca, OH.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
