David C. White

David C. White, age 71, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. He was born August 14, 1954 in Dayton, OH to the late Henry and Thelma White.

David was a truck driver for 47 years, logging over 5 million miles over his career. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #360, New Paris, OH and was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #2022, Eaton, OH. He enjoyed singing karaoke. But most of all he dearly loved all of his family and friends, whom he considered family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Peggy White and Betty Knutson.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rita White of Eaton; daughter Tequila (Moon) Braughton of Eldorado; daughter Mindy (James) Cooney of Alaska; son Kenny (Debbie) White of Eaton; grandchildren Kourtney Starns, Shelby Shaw, Dalton Smith, Lane Hurd, Morgan White and Abby White; great grandchildren Rowan Smith and Penelope Starns; sister Dora Morgan of Hyden, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Sons of the American Legion Post #360, 215 N. Washington Street, New Paris, OH 45347.
