Deborah Adele Heslop, age 76, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born in Dayton, OH to the late Don and Mary (Rockey) Ulrich. Debbie was a very loving person, and always willing to do anything for anyone. She was a social butterfly and worked hard to maintain meaningful relationships. She held a variety of jobs to support her children, including secretary at a gymnastics gym, working at Dayton Children’s Hospital, National City Mortgage, and selling guns and ammo at gun shows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Michael Heslop in 1990; and a sister Donna Ulrich in 2024. She is survived by her son Tod Heslop; daughter Gina (Randy) Jackson; grandchildren James and Olivia Jackson; brother George (Sandra) Ulrich; sisters Diana (Mark) Damon and Dani (Henry) Jakubowski; special friend John Dunker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 11:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church, 2319 Enterprise Road, West Alexandria, OH 45381 with Pastor Bill Schilling officiating. Burial will follow immediately after at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preble County Historical Society, 7693 Swartsel Road, Eaton, OH 45320.
