Devon I. Marker

Devon I. Marker, age 76, of Eaton, OH passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 11, 1935 in Eaton to the late Ralph C. and Martha M. (Nuse) Marker. He retired from U.S. Precision Glass, Lewisburg, OH in 2000; he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Richard, twin brother Leon, and Bobbie Marker; and his granddaughter Lezlie Shively. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol K. Marker of Eaton, OH; daughters Tina (Steve) Shively-Hawley of Lewisburg, OH and Kathy Cullers of Eaton, OH; grandchildren Randy Cullers of Lewisburg, OH, Chad (Shannen) Shively of Lewisburg, OH, Dana Carter of Eaton, OH, Gary Carter, Jr. of Eaton, OH and Michelle Carter of Miamisburg, OH; step grandchildren Rachel Hawley of New Lebanon, OH, Codi Hawley of Verona, OH and Skyler Hawley of Lewisburg, OH; great grandchildren April Cullers, Delaney Shively, Owen Shively and Ryan Shively; and brother Jimmie Marker. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
