Donna A. Hawvermale

Donna A. Hawvermale, age 91, of Eaton, OH passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born March 9, 1927 in Montgomery County to the late Clarence E. and Onda E. (Smith) Coppess. Donna was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ, where she was active as a Sunday School teacher, Women’s Fellowship and visiting shut-ins weekly. She was a lifelong farmer with her husband Marvin in Preble County where she also enjoyed her gardening, flowers and mowing yard. She was a 4-H advisor for many years. Also, she loved music and playing the piano. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Ellwood and Damon Coppess. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Marvin E. Hawvermale of Eaton, OH; daughters: Diana J. Meinhold of Costa Mesa, CA, Patricia K. Flory of Dayton, OH and Nancy S. (Bill) Hicks of Eaton, OH; grandchildren: Keith (Brandon) Flory, Kevin (Michelle) Flory, Amber (Jeff) Michael and Kristin (Chris) Leber; and great grandchildren: Grant Flory, Lauren Flory, Kayleigh Michael, Drew Michael, Derrick Michael, Lukas Flory and Braelyn Leber. Donna’s family meant the world to her; the love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she would babysit and was happiest when attending their sporting events. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am at the Eaton United Church of Christ, 113 West Decatur Street, Eaton, OH with Rev.
