Donna M. Upton

Donna M. Upton, age 79, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. She was born June 24, 1946 in West Manchester, OH to the late Sherman and Mildred (Bennett) Padgett.

Donna enjoyed crafts and taught art at the Preble County Senior Center. She was an adoring mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Chuck” Upton; siblings Robert “Bob” Padgett, Darlene Strawser and Sherman “Skip” Padgett; and grandson Micheal Upton.

She is survived by her son William (Suzi) Upton, Jr. of Lebanon, PA; daughter Tonya (Tim) Glander of New Paris, OH; grandchildren Nathan (Ashley) Upton, Matthew (Ty) Upton, Stephen Upton and Isaac Upton and Tyler (Sasha) Glander and Chelsea (Tyler) Romani; great grandchildren Breydon, Willow, Barrett, Delaney, Connor, Brantley, Oakley, Kingston and Kohen; sisters Nancy (Robert) Johnson and Sandra Duke (Jim Stockslager); brother-in-law Dave Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 3:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.
