Floyd L. "Butch" Spitler Jr.

Floyd L. “Butch” Spitler Jr, age 84, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Hospice of Warren/Butler Counties in Middletown, OH. He was born December 10, 1940 in West Alexandria to the late Floyd L. Sr and Doris (Johnson) Spitler. Floyd was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ingomar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Janet Spitler. He is survived by his son John and Rhonda Spitler and grandson Sean Spitler all of White Oak, TX; son Michael and Angela Spitler of Eaton, OH; brother Ronald Spitler of Eaton, OH; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 1:00 pm until time of celebration of life service at 3:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. A private inurnment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH. Any contributions to Hospice of Dayton in his memory would be welcomed in lieu of flowers.
