Gary Keith Flory, 71, of Verona, Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born on October 2, 1954, Gary lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering dedication, and a deep love for his family.
Gary was a man of remarkable commitment to his craft. He spent 33 proud years at Neaton Auto Products, achieving something few can claim — perfect attendance throughout his entire tenure. It was a testament to his character: dependable, steadfast, and a man who showed up in every sense of the word.
Beyond his work ethic, Gary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a collector of pocket knives, and a skilled shot on the clay pigeon range. Whether he was shuffling a deck of cards with friends or casting a line at sunrise, Gary brought the same enthusiasm and competitive spirit to everything he enjoyed.
Above all else, Gary treasured his family. He and his beloved wife, Kitty, shared 52 wonderful years of marriage — a partnership built on love, laughter, and loyalty. Those who knew Gary knew that his family was his greatest pride and his greatest joy.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Hazel Meade; his mother, Shirley Rike; his father, Donald Flory; and his in-laws, Kenny and Carol Haworth.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kitty Flory; his daughter, Jaime Coyle (Jeff); his son, Matthew Flory (Sabrina Sexton); his grandson, Jeffrey Coyle; his granddaughters, Maria Coyle, Addison Sexton, and Madilyn Flory; his sister, Jill Daly; his brother, Jeff Hangen; his sister-in-law, Kathryn Maxwell (John); and brother-in-law John Haworth.
Gary Keith Flory was a man who worked hard, played hard, and loved even harder. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, devotion, and warmth that will be felt by all who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. “Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding.” — Proverbs 3:13
