Gary L. Norris

Gary L. Norris, age 82, of Lewisburg, OH passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 8, 1942 in Dayton, OH to the late Clifford and Ellen Norris. Gary was a 1960 graduate of Monroe High School; was a U.S Army Veteran and member of the American Legion Post # 665 where he served as Past Commander and was also member of the Preble County Honor Guard; he retired from Nokia Company as an installer in 2000; was an avid racing fan; and his greatest pleasure was watching his son and granddaughters play sports. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Norris of Lewisburg; son Jeff (Cathy) Norris of Lewisburg; granddaughters Anna Norris and Emily Norris both of Lewisburg; sister Connie Wright of Botkins; sister-in-law Jill Wiltshire of Englewood; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. A private graveside will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Memorial contributions may be sent to American Legion Post #665 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
