Geraldine Ware Morrow

Geraldine Ware Morrow, age 95, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH.  She was born December 21, 1926 in Chicago, IL to the late Richard A. Sr. and Mable (Thomas) Norris. She was a 1944 graduate of Ansonia High School where she was class valedictorian, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1953 from The Ohio State University and later earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Miami University in 1964.  She was an elementary teacher and guidance counselor for 35 years, with most of that time at Dayton Public Schools.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph E. Ware in 1971; second husband William Morrow in 1998; and brothers Richard A. (Mary) Norris, Jr and F. James Norris; brothers-in-law Morris (Annabell) Ware, Martin Ware, John (Eileen) Ware; sister-in-law Ella Marie (Howard) Butterbaugh.  She is survived by her daughter Pamela Ware (Richard) Printup of Atlanta, GA; son John M. (Julia) Ware of West Alexandria, OH; daughter Merry J. Delk of Eaton, OH; grandchildren: Curtis J. Delk, Whitney J. (Daniel) Davis, C. Alexander Delk, Andrew W. Delk, Mackensie R. Delk and Joseph J. Ware; great grandchildren Emma Davis and Owen Davis; sister Barbara (Joseph) Haas of Rennes, France; sister-in-law Charlie Norris of Lebanon, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at St. John Church, 20 E.
