Glenna Esther Avery

Glenna E. Avery, age 96 of Eaton, OH, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2018 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born October 6, 1921 in Montgomery County, OH to the late Moses and Effie (Evans) Miller. She was the youngest of four children. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons Harold Robert, Jr. and Ronald Lee; sisters Lucy Hendrickson and Vera Knapp; brother Everett Miller; and former husband Harold Robert Avery, whom she married in 1941. She is survived by her daughter Karen of Hampton Falls, NH; son Dane (Valerie) of Dallas, GA; son Steven of Post Falls, ID; son Daryl (Carol) of Eaton, OH; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Pastor Ray Sowder officiating.
