Gregg G. Goldy, age 49, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Kettering Health Main Campus in Dayton. He was born August 21, 1976 in Rockford, IL.
Gregg was retired from Procter & Gamble, where he worked for over 20 years; 3 years ago, he started his G-Cubed BBQ business. He loved camping and fishing. He won numerous awards for his cooking and barbecue recipes. His passion grew into a business; on TikTok, he met many fellow barbecue enthusiasts and made many connections. He supported the Smoking Pastor Project, with his time and equipment, which is an organization that feeds people in need. Gregg’s love of family was great and he would do anything he could to help them as well as those he met throughout his life. More than anything, he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jenny Goldy; children Alex (Olivia) Goldy, Keith (Cara) Goldy, Samantha Bentley, Emily McDaniel (Josh Hamm); numerous grandchildren; parents Gary and Jane Goldy; brother Grant Goldy; sister Kelly (Chris) Helton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving in-laws.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Gregg’s memory to the Smoking Pastor Project, www.smokingpastorproject.com.
