Harold "Gene" Wolf

Harold “Gene” Wolf, age 87, of West Alexandria, OH passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his residence.  He was born December 8, 1933 in Brookville, OH to the late Harold Orville and Isabelle Marie Wolfe.  He was a US Army Veteran; he retired as an IronWorker from the Ironworkers Union #290, Dayton, OH; was an avid bowler; and was a member of the Miamisburg Assembly of God.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Willa Fay Wolf, who passed away in 2014; infant son Michael Arnold Wolf; and sisters Florence and Juanita Wolfe.  He is survived by his daughters Gail (Tom) Gunsalus of West Manchester, OH and Tammy (Jerry) Humphrey of Arcanum, OH; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Shirley Johnson, Doris Pollet, Betty (Bob) Beneke all of West Alexandria, OH; brother Roland Wolfe of West Alexandria, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.  Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria, OH.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
