Helen Sue Brewer

Helen Sue Brewer, age 65, of West Manchester, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2025 at the Kettering Health Preble County Emergency Room in Eaton. She was born July 19, 1959 in Dayton, OH to the late Rufus D. & Mary Rita (Monnette) Smith. Helen loved old horror movies especially Vincent Price movies; was a huge Bengals fan; enjoyed fishing and crocheting; and loved butterflies. Helen's sense of humor and compassion were equally infectious.  No matter how terrible of a day someone was having she could always brighten up their day.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Melvin Brewer in 2022; brother William David Smith in 2021; and sisters Edna Marie "Smitty" Ebersole in 2011 and Harriet L. Smith in 2017. She is survived by her son Emanuel David Brewer of West Manchester; nieces Tracy and her husband Conan Erisman of Eldorado, Persephone Erisman of Eldorado, Christa Roberts of South Carolina; and nephew Ben Roberts of South Carolina.
