Jacklyn Sue Rogers

Jacklyn “Susie” Rogers, age 77, of Eaton, OH passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Vancrest of Eaton Healthcare Center. She was born December 9, 1948 in Dayton, OH to the late Jack and Edith (Albert) Werts.

Susie graduated from Eaton High School in 1967 and worked at Clifton Shirt Factory and later Neaton Auto Products. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. Susie was a fun person, with a contagious smile and great sense of humor. She loved music and always had a song in her heart. Shopping with her daughters was one of her favorite activities, and she adored being with and supporting her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Werts.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry Rogers of Eaton; daughters Meredith (Aaron) Cruze of Eaton and Rebekah (Jeff) Siegel of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Jacob and Ashley; and brother Daniel Werts of Riverside, OH.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Susie will be laid to rest at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH with her parents and sister Nancy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vancrest Activities Fund, 1600 Park Avenue, Eaton, OH 45320.
