James C. & Lorna L. Tipton

TIPTON, James C. and Lorna L., both age 75 of Eaton, OH, would have been married 50 years on August 10, 2018. James passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence and Lorna passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Hospice of Middletown. James was born November 28, 1942 in Hardburly, KY to the late Samuel and Elizabeth Tipton. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and retired from Neaton Auto Products in Eaton. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Lorna was born May 22, 1943 in Flint, MI to the late Lorne and Margaret Katherine Fuller. She retired from Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Eaton. She was preceded in death by her parents. James and Lorna are survived by their children: Stephanie (Jeff) Rose of Camden, Amy (Doug) Moore of New Paris and Craig Tipton of Eaton; grandchildren: Austin Hines, Jimmy Kidd, Makaila Moore, J.D. Rose, Kate Rose, Lauren Moore, Kenny Moore, Zach Page and Cooper Tipton. James’ additional survivors include a sister Yvonne (Art) Roberts and sister-in-law Margaret Depew both of Franklin, OH. Lorna’s additional survivors include brothers Edwin (Penny) Fuller of Rockford, MI and Robert (Charlene) Fuller of Grant, MI; sister Margaret (Gary) Whitten of Traverse City, MI; and her aunt Doris Fowler of Traverse City, MI. As well as numerous nieces and nephews on both sides. Funeral services for James and Lorna will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Bob Reed officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH. Visitation for James and Lorna will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
