James R. "Jimmy" Stover

James R. “Jimmy” Stover, age 68, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence.  He was born August 7, 1952 in Richmond, IN to Betty Stover and the late James Stover.  Jimmy retired from Parker Hannifin Co. in Eaton after 45 years of employment. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis K. Stover in 2019; son James Robert Stover; daughter Melanie Ann Stover; and brother David Stover.  He is survived by his mother Betty Stover of Eaton; sister Belinda Stover McMurray of Eaton; daughter Laura Stover (Jacob Hebbeler) of Brookville, IN; daughter Brandy (Chad) Miller of Kentucky; grandchildren: Daniel Burgess, Brittany Burgess, Lauren Smith, Ciera Miller, Bailey Miller, Vincent Lowe, Carley Evans, Molly Wimmer, and Timmy Stover; great grandchildren: Hayden Mayer, Acaydia Mayer, Miles Null, Cairo Evans and Candon Evans; stepson Jeffery Weir; stepdaughters Melanie (Israel) Cervantes and Tiffany Moses; brothers-in-law Jerry (Nancy) Couch and Earl (Diana) Couch both of Eaton, OH; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins; and best friend Dale “ Gibby” Gibbs. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev.
