James G. Wadman, age 82, of Eaton, OH passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 25, 1938 in New Castle, IN. Jim was a U.S Air Force Retired Veteran, serving his country from 1957 to 1978. He was an avid scuba diver and instructor, collecting many beautiful sea shells over the years; he volunteered at the U.S Air Force Musuem for several years; enjoyed stamp and coin collecting; loved car racing; and was a puzzle enthusiast. He was also a member of the Eaton Community Church. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Wadman; mother and stepfather Amerenthea and Oscar Fosnight; and grandson PFC Brandon Wadman in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, June (Hensel) Wadman of Eaton; daughter Deborah (Martin) Scheid of Cape Coral, FL; son Richard (Anna) Wadman of Hamilton; daughter Amy (Bill) Ambrose of Port Charlotte, FL; son Jeff (Cindy) Wassom of New Paris; son Mark (Rhonda) Wassom of Walton, KY; son Chad (Beth) Wassom of Greenville; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother David (Kay) Wadman of Pawleys Island, SC; sister Mindy (Joe) Smith of Hagerstown, IN; and one niece and two nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am at the Eaton Community Church, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastor Dan Denlinger officiating.
