Janice M. Neighbors, age 86, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was born May 6, 1940 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Roy and Golda (Caudill) Carter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Neighbors; and sisters Vivian Childress and Karen Carter.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Garnett Neighbors of West Alexandria; daughter Gayle (Michael) Back of West Alexandria; grandchildren Sara Erber, Adam Back, David Back, Nathan Back, Isaac Back, Noah Back and Olivia Scanlan; and 22 great grandchildren; sister Alyene Slough of Florida; and nephews Dwight Slough and Rick Childress.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Gard Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
