Jeanne Gale Flenner

Jeanne Gale Flenner, age 80 of Gratis, Ohio died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio.  Born June 4, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Edward Thomas and Frances Irene (Stephenson) Kemmerer.

Jeanne, married Daniel Lloyd Flenner in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Provo Temple in Utah on December 28, 1973, a graduate of Miami Valley School of Nursing worked as an LPN at Heartland of Eaton until 1983 at which time she determined that raising Matt, her son was a fulltime job.  She adored her grandchildren and grandpuppies and enjoyed spending time with them.  She spent the later years of her life living with her children, ten years with Berta and then ten years with Matt and Tonia.  She enjoyed reading, watching Ohio State games and movies with her family.  Throughout her life, she strived to put the needs of others before her own.  She was the best mother that a son could ask for.

Survived by her husband Daniel Flenner and son Matt (Tonia) Flenner.  Grandmother of Travis Day, Cameron Day, Zachary (Ashley) Zimmerman, Cody Zimmerman, Alyssa Zimmerman, Gabrielle Flenner, and Kylie Flenner.   Great grandmother of Lilly Zimmerman and Jackson Zimmerman.

Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Frances Kemmerer, her daughters Robin Childers, Roberta Day, granddaughter Tiffany and brother Tom Kemmerer.

Visitation will be on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00P.M. with Bishop Steven Lange officiating all at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home 113 South Ada Doty Street Gratis, Ohio 45330.  Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, Ohio.
