Jewell Cox

COX, Jewell McQueen, age 79, of West Alexandria, OH, died Mon. July 30, 2012 in Dayton.  She was born Aug. 17, 1932 in Jackson County, KY. to Carrie McQueen.  She worked many years as a waitress in the Dayton area. She was a member of Eaton First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse, in 2001.  She is survived by her brother, Hiram (Jean) McQueen, McKee, KY., sister, Margaret (George) Carr, West Alexandria, OH.,  many nieces and nephews, cousins that dearly loved her and her special dog,  LiLo.  She was also preceded in death by her mother, Carrie McQueen Reece, special grandparents, Price and Ellen McQueen, brothers, Paul McQueen, Charlie Minter, sisters, Opal Stevens, Hallie Williams, Cordie  Isaacs and her dog, Herman. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to Eaton First Church of God, 601 E.
