Jo Ada Stacy

Jo Ada Stacy, age 88, of Eaton, OH passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born May 3, 1929 in Lawrence County, KY to the late John and Ella Mae (Butcher) Van Hoose. She was a member of the Covenant of Peace Church (formerly Full Gospel Temple), Eaton; and she retired from the Baxter Company in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Burl Stacy in 2015; and 17 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Michael Stacy of West Alexandria, OH; granddaughters Shannon (Ray Wilkerson) Hawley of Naples, FL and Morgan (Anthony) Schmidt of Eaton, OH; great grandchildren Austin Hawley, USMC and Sophia Schmidt; sister Ruth Adkins of Port Washington, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Covenant of Peace Church, 4745 State Route 127 North, Eaton, OH with Pastor Kenneth Harbaum and Rev. Raymond Rothwell officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton.
