Joanne F. Barker

Joanne F. Barker, age 83, of San Antonio, TX and formerly of Preble County, OH, passed away on May 25, 2022 at her daughter’s residence.  She was born May 25, 1939 in Richmond, IN to the late Wilbert Russell and Leatha (Padgitt) Atkinson.  She was a lifelong Methodist.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Eugene Barker in 2008.  She is survived by her daughter Teresa F. Barker-Grubman of San Antonio, TX; sisters Cindy Padgitt and Darlene Koontz; brother Eldon Atkinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH (due to construction, please use the Park Avenue or west side entrance).  Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery in Richmond, IN.
