John A. Springer

John A. Springer, age 66, of West Manchester, OH passed away on November 28, 2024 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1958 in Richmond, IN to the late Arno and Mary (Lux) Springer. John retired after 35 years as a Iron Worker from Union Local #290 in Dayton. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and living at the farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Arno Springer II and Danny Springer; and sister Constance Springer. He is survived by his sons Vincent (Natalie) Springer of New Madison, OH and Preston Springer of Connersville, IN; grandchildren Hayslee and Harper Springer, Paxton Springer, Hueston Springer, Hyatt Springer and one expecting; sisters Betty (Monty) Dysinger of Covington, OH, Jean (Nelson) Bousman of New Paris, OH, Mary (Dan) Fall of Milton, FL and Patty (Tom) Lawson of Greenville, OH; brothers, Joe (Lisa) Springer of New Paris, OH, Ernie (Cindy) Springer, Piqua, OH; half-sister Lyvonne Ward of Piqua, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. A memorial service will follow starting at 4:00 pm also at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Price officiating. A private interment will take place at Wares Chapel Cemetery in West Manchester.
