John Edward Tussey

John Edward Tussey, age 68 of New Paris, Ohio passed away on January 12, 2024. He was born May 7, 1955 in Franklin County, IN son of the late Fred Tussey Sr. and Sylvia (Elliott) Tussey. Johnny was a talented artist and woodworker. He loved music, cooking, and gardening. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. John was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Gregory Lynn Tussey; father, Fred P. Tussey Sr., brother, Larry Earl Tussey; niece, Megan Elizabeth Taylor; and nephew, Randall Lee Tussey. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia (Elliott) Tussey; brothers, Michael Tussey, Fred P. Tussey Jr., Kenneth Tussey, and James (Jennifer) Tussey; sisters, Angie Jayne, Rebecca Stoff, Jennifer (Tim) Denton, Adele Newhouse, Bette Jo (Brad) Taylor, and Lori Tussey. John also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
