Johnny L. Moore, age 67, of Camden, OH passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was born September 5, 1954 in Dayton, OH to the late Mannie L. and E. Lorene (Swafford) Moore. At the age of 17, Johnny was the recipient of the Carnegie Medal for acts of extraordinary heroism. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran that served during the Vietnam War; and he retired as a truck driver from the Cliff Viessman, Inc. company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Joyce Moore. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Moore of Camden; children: Eva (James) Regelsky, Spring Moore, Sarah (Don) Banks, Tommy Hoskins, Bethany (Jeff) Fox, Ernie Moore; 12 grandchildren; brother Jim Moore; sisters Patty Moore and Teresa (Royce) Stanley; special cousin James Davis and several nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 113 Ada Doty Street, Gratis, OH.
