Joseph C Young

Joseph C. Young., age 94, of Hamilton, OH passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Wood Glen Nursing Center in Dayton, OH.  He was born December 7, 1925 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Samuel and Rosa Young.  Joseph was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran who served during WWII.  He retired from General Motors in Hamilton, OH and was also a longtime Butler County farmer.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Willamae Young of Hamilton, OH; sons Foot Young of Australia and Jeff Young of Camden, OH; daughter Diane Young of Key West, FL; granddaughters Jenny (Matt) Lukacs of Kettering, OH and Melissa (Ryan) Wooten of Eaton, OH; sister Elizabeth (Allan) Brackman of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011.  Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.lindloffzimmerman.com.
