Joyce D. Hardin

Joyce D Hardin, age 82, of Eaton, OH passed away in her sleep on January 6, 2019 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born on December 24, 1936 in Richmond IN. Preceded in death by her parent’s TF and Marie Johnson; brothers Delbert and Paul; and sisters Patricia, Norma Lee and Delores. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Meryl Hardin; three daughters: Penny J (Bernard) Marshall, Rebecca (Ken) Velez, Diane L Hardin; grandchildren Matt and Bryan (Lisa) Marshall, Tyler Hardin, KJ and Brandon Velez, Anthony Wallace, Alice, Colt and Courtney Johnson; along with eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of Eaton First Church of God. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jonathon Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton or charity of choice.
