Judy L. Wright, age 79, of Eaton and formerly of West Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center. She was born March 22, 1945 in Marion, VA to the late Raleigh and Marguerite Ferguson. She was a member of the West Alexandria Church of the Brethren; was a school bus driver at Twin Valley Schools for 31 years; was a member of the Coterie Club; and was a member of the Twin Valley Schools athletic and band boosters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Phillip “Bingo” Wright; infant twin sister Joann Ferguson; sisters Elizabeth Kitchen, Dorothy Mansel and Shelby Clinger; and brothers Frank Ferguson and Tom Ferguson. She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Rick) Newsock of Xenia and Amy (Mike) Ehler of West Alexandria; son Frank (Teresa) Wright of Eaton; grandchildren: Blake (Chelsea) Newsock, Ashley (Andy) Collins, Zach (Cheyenne) Newsock, Nicole (Clint) Spitler, Chad Ehler, Madison Wright, Megan Wright and Macy Wright; great grandchildren: Kennedy Collins, Nolan Collins, Aurora Collins, Scarlett Collins, Braeson Newsock, Briar Newsock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Brody Rike officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
