Kathy Jane (Krintzline) Swain

December 28, 1947 — February 18, 2021

On February 18, 2021, Kathy passed on from this world leaving all of us with a huge hole in our hearts. She was born December 28, 1947 to Robert and Frances Krintzline. Kathy was preceded in death by her loving parents and an infant daughter Amy Swain. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Trisha Swain, son Travis (Erica) Swain, her beloved granddaughter Frannie and furry grandson Louie. Her brothers Bill (Ann) Krintzline, Jeff (LeAnn) Krintzline, also survive her, as well as her sisters Sherri Jewett, Lisa (Tim) Sullivan, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  If you were fortunate enough to count Kathy among your family or friends, you know that she loved fiercely and gave generously. She loved to spoil her family for birthdays and holidays! Spending time with her family created the best memories and moments for her. When she became Granny to Frannie, she treasured their slumber parties, cooking for her, and playing in the band with Frannie and Trisha. She often said that she could watch Frannie play all day long.  Kathy enjoyed county music and Conway Twitty was her favorite artist. She spent many weekends listening to live country music and taking Trisha and Travis to Brown County, Indiana to enjoy all it has to offer.  Kathy retired from Miami Valley Hospital in 2016 after twenty-nine (29) years of service. She made many wonderful friends while working at Miami Valley and maintained those friendships until her passing.  The family will hold a celebration of life later.  Girton Schmid & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences to www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
