Kenneth E. Rossman, age 96, of Eaton, OH passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Brookdale Senior Living in Greenville, OH. He was born March 12, 1930 in Toledo, OH to the late Arthur and Alma (Darr) Rossman.
Kenneth was a 1949 graduate of Genoa High School. He worked for United Telephone Company for 34 years. While working with UTC, he was transferred to Eaton as District Manager in 1967, then to Sidney and then to Mansfield before retiring in 1992. Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran that served during the Korean War (Pork Chop Hill), as Army Chaplain’s Assistant, Rank of Corporal from 1950-1953. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 215, Eaton, OH. He was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton and member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Patricia Ann Rossman; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Teri (Cottingim) Rossman; granddaughter Tara Miller; and sons-in-law Steve Pieratt and Tim Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law Gerald and Phyllis Rossman and Leonard and Betty Rossman; and brother-in-law Richard Hoffman.
He is survived by his daughters Nancy Miller, Janice Pieratt and Lynne Rossman; son Chris (Chandra) Rossman; grandchildren Kristl Miller, Phillip (Lydia) Miller, Brent (Jessie) Rossman, Clint (Ashley) Rossman, Melinda (Bob) Brower, Ryan (Danielle) Pieratt, Blake (Mercedes) Pieratt, Zachary (Justine) Rossman, Chase Rossman, Kelsey (Matt) Warling, Joshua (Joselyn) Line, and Nicholas (Hannah) Line; great grandchildren Carson Brower, Sydney Brower, Meredith Pieratt, Bryce Pieratt, Beckham Pieratt, Malie Pieratt, Kyah Rossman, Norah Rossman, Everett Rossman, Callie-Ann Rossman, Jaxon Miller, Harry Line, Chloe Rossman, Cole Rossman and Lexi Rossman; sisters-in-law Lois Hoffman and Mary Jo Hoffman; brother-in-law Terry Hoffman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Memorial contributions may be sent to Suncrest Hospice, 9050 Centre Pointe Drive, Suite 100, West Chester Township, OH 45069.
