L. Rex Sharp

SHARP,  L. "Rex", age 91 of West Alexandria, OH. died Fri. Dec. 10, 2010 in Dayton.  He was born in Union, OH. on Dec. 13, 1918 to Lee and Anna (Becker) Sharp. As a young man, he had earned his Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting.  He had worked for many years at Rike's  Department Store in the warehouse division for 42 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in New Lebanon. Also a member of Richmond Deaf Club.   He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lorene Sharp, a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Aaron King, Greenville, OH., 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Lucas, Jenna and Wyatt King.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Max K. Sharp.  Funeral  services will be held 11:00 A.M. Mon. Dec. 13, 2010 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. with Pastor James Whorton officiating.  Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-7PM.
