Larry Denman Johnston

Larry Denman Johnston, age 79, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was born February 10, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late John and Virginia Johnston.

Larry served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (Hampton) Johnston; daughters LaChelle Goulette and RaLynn Ison; four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fairmount Cemetery, 7371 Camden Road, Camden, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s honor to a veteran’s organization of the donor’s choice. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting the family with arrangements.
