Linda J. Blough

Linda J. Blough, age 78, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Vancrest of Eaton Healthcare Center. She was born December 30, 1947 in New Madison, OH to the late Roland and Helen (Swihart) Pease.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of Westmont High School in Hollansburg, OH and earned her LPN degree from Reid Health in 1967. After nursing school, she joined the Brethren Volunteer Service and worked for one year at Bethany Brethren Hospital in Chicago, IL where she met her future husband Randy. After moving back to Ohio, she worked for many years in geriatric care that included at the Governor Harris Nursing Home where she and Randy later owned and operated for ten years. She volunteered for over 25 years at the Vancrest of Eaton Healthcare Center; and she was a longtime member of the Eaton Community Church where she served in the children’s and guest ministry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Sharon Pease.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Randy Blough of Eaton; son Jason Blough of Eaton; daughters Jennifer (Jeremy) Blough Bendel of Camden and Joanna (Rich) DePolt of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren Jolene Bendel and Jaron Bendel both of Camden; brother Melvin (Donna) Pease of Citrus Springs, FL and Gary Pease of Canyon Lake,TX; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to Vancrest Activity Fund.
