Lloyd A. Strike

Lloyd A. Strike, age 83, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2026 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH. He was born December 12, 1942 in Chambersburg, PA to the late Ray and Myrtle (Garber) Strike.

Lloyd married Mary Ruth Wolf as his life companion. They were united in marriage June 14, 1964 at her home. They shared the joys and sorrows of life for more than 55 years and were blessed with 4 sons. They made their home in the Lower Twin district and together they faithfully served the church in various responsibilities.

He will be missed by his 3 sons: Alan (Rosanna) Strike, Gary (Jackie) Strike and Daryl (Larisa) Strike; 15 grandchildren and companions; numerous great grandchildren; brother Eldon (Jane) Strike; and sister Elsie Mae (Keith) Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Strike; a son, Larry Dean Strike; a daughter-in-law Judy K. (Balsbaugh) Strike; a grandson Jonathan Lee Strike; a brother Carl J. Strike; and a sister Ada Catherine Spurrier.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Lower Twin Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Quaker Trace Road, Camden, OH. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 23, 2026 also at the church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH.
