Lois M. Conley

Lois M. Conley, age 102, of Eaton, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her residence.  She was born April 12, 1920 in Norwalk, OH to the late Fred and Clarissa Smith.  Lois was a charter member and officer of the Home Garden Club; was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge; and was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafts.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C.C. “Pete” Conley; and brothers Lewis, Ralph and Leon Smith.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Ron Tomlin of Eaton; and niece Sandra Moffit of Mansfield, OH.  A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Mound Hill Cemetery (new section) in Eaton.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Eaton First Church of God or Preble County Humane Society.  Online condolence and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
