Lois Jean Pierce

Lois Jean Pierce, age 84, of Eaton, OH passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Vancrest Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born August 13, 1941 in Dayton, OH to the late William V. and Elizabeth (Woodall) Kenzik. Lois volunteered at several school districts throughout the years. She worked as a store trained area representative for McDonald’s in Huber Heights. Lois was an avid square dancer and was a member of The CurliQ’s. She enjoyed knitting and gifting her creations to her family. She was a longtime member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Eaton, where she volunteered as a kitchen aide. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronald James Pierce; grandson SPC Joshua Ross Campbell; and aunt Alma Tyler. She is survived by her children Lori Marie Pierce of Dayton, OH, Julie Marie (Mark) Pierce of Cambridge City, IN, Ronald James (Mary) Pierce II of Enon, OH and Patrick William (Nicole) Pierce of Eaton; grandchildren Jacey Ryan, James Gabriel, Jonathan Russell, Jordan Reese, Ronald James III, Zoe Cheyenne, Caitlin Mae, Ian Silas, Reagan Nicole, Emma Jean, and Nathaniel Douglas; 21 great-grandchildren; brother William Vincent (Marietta) Kenzik of Algoma, WI; sister Barbara Lou (Donald) Sturgeon of Dayton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 407 E. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton.
