Marion Stephen "Steve" Jones

Marion Stephen “Steve” Jones, age 70, of Eaton, OH passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at home with his family by his side. He was born January 14, 1955 in Hamilton, OH to the late Marion Francis and Anna Louise (Riddle) Jones.

Steve graduated from New Miami High School in 1973. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served from 1974 to 1977. He was a longtime truck driver, retiring from Lesaint Logistics in Trenton, OH. In his free time, Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to travel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Tobey Mills and Linda Barger; brothers-in-law Jake Mills and Abe Barger.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda Jones; children Chuck Nye, Vicki (Paul) Titus, Dana (Kevin) Henniger and Buffy Nye; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Lorraine Mills; brother-in-law Leroy Mills; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to his nephew A.J. Barger for helping take care of the farm.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 PM at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH.
