I was so very sorry about Marlenes passing. Ill never forget Shorty and Marlene moving into their house maybe 60 years ago and becoming our neighbor! I have many many memories of growing up as neighbors and the special friendship our parents had! Brad, Brent, Buff and Bart, please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers! It makes me so happy knowing that your mom and Belinda are reunited

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Marlene. She was my cousin and I still remember spending time at my Aunt Charlotte's house in the summer when I was a little girl. It was so much fun to be with her & Sandy. Our families had great times together at Holidays, usually held at our Grandparents home and all the other cousins, aunts & uncles were there too. My condolences to Brad, Bart, Brent & Buff and their families. Marcia Bashor

Whenever I'm reminded of this gracious lady, two things immediately come to mind: her lovely fingernails when she was dating Shorty (He was one of our families favorite "soldiers" in ONG.) and their wedding at Antioch church (I was 10 or 11 years old and enchanted by it and her beauty.) Prayers for you in your sorrow. . . . Melanie (Yost) Robert
